Elata grew up in Durbanville Cape Town, and studied BSc hons physiotherapy at the University of the Western Cape. Though a true “Cape-Tonian” at heart, she fell in love with KZN and its outdoor sporty lifestyle.
She likes assisting people in their journeys and meeting them where they are with an enthusiastic and goal orientated approach. She is passionate about all things rehab and believes that her clients can reach their full potential when both parties bring their best self.
Her areas of interest are in orthopaedic, neuromusculoskeletal and neurological disorders. She is planning to complete her women’s health course in 2026.
Elata is an outdoorswoman and always chasing a thrill somewhere in the ocean or mountains. Her background in sport gives her an edge above most when understanding what each athlete or patient needs.
